Because there's enough Cowboys lovers out there that revenue will always come in from Dallas win or lose. But when they lose, 90% of non Cowboys fans tune in and even more money is made. People love seeing Dallas do bad. That's the reason why we seem to never get calls/good bye weeks, and ALWAYS get the roughest part of out schedule at the end of the season. The Cowboys losing is good for the league because everyone likes to see it.
That's my theory anyways
No. That theory is not a theory. It's actually very true.
It's the reason the Dez rant is STILL being discussed on sportscenter. Doubt if we had lost if it'd be getting this much coverage. Or if Dez played for lets say...Jacksonsville?
Which actually brings up another point. It's quite sad that Calvin's once in a lifetime type of performance has been receiving little to zero coverage whereas the Dez story is/was EVERYWHERE. You wouldn't know what Calvin did without looking at the stats
As usual I haven't watched an ounce of ESPN since the L outside of a little bit of the MNF game to get my Gruden fix for the week, I won't tolerate the continuous slander, you wouldn't even know the Dolphins blew a 17-3 lead against New England in the 2nd half to lose by double-digits based off the negative coverage we've received.
