THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || 3-6 Next Game 11/18 vs. Texans Monday Night Football

Romo's biggest problem is worrying about what everybody else thinks, when he should only be worried about what Cowboys fans think.
His ultimate goal should be to win as many Super Bowls possible to appease the Cowboys fan base.

I'm over here :lol :lol at work. Checked the season thread and dudes really believe Matt Schaub and Romo are equals. Like these clowns don't realize Mark Sanchez has more playoff wins that Romo and Matt Ryan. Guess he must be better too.

Thanks for the article Blackboyfly. Romo's failures are so overblown. He has the most 4th quarter comebacks of any QB from 2011 til today. I guess its actually a form of respect though that Romo will only be appreciated if he gets a championship.

They're ridiculous :lol

And I agree with you 100% mr s j king mr s j king That list just proves that Romo isn't a choker like people say. I have no problem what so ever when people say Romo hasn't won a superbowl/had enough playoff success. It's when people act like Romo turns into Vince Carter in the final minutes of an NBA finals game that's ridiculous to me. Dude had more game winning drives in a 5 week period last season than he has 'chokes' in his career.

I NEED US TO BEAT THE SAINTS!
I don't care how we win, just beat the Saints.
If we win I might reactivate my Facebook page just to talk s*** :rollin
This game has become a rivalry.
Saints fans were break dancing and twerking all over Cowboys stadium after they won last year.

:lol :lol @ break dancing/ twerking.

The reason why its a slight rivalry to me now is because of how they are treating us. In Brees' pregame speech he says "Lets go show them who the real Americas Team is." That bothers me. Sorry Drew, you can't take that title away from the Cowboys regardless of how mediocre we've been :lol

It's the Sean Payton, Drew Brees connection too.
Payton was on the staff but Jerry let him get away.
It was sign Romo long term or take Drew Brees. Couldn't go wrong either way.
So we could easily have Payton/Brees or Payton/Romo as our head coach-quarterback tandem.
I don't think I have to mention that Sean Payton is a far better head coach than Jason Garrett.

Callahan said the reason we threw so much against Minnesota was because of their "scheme"

:{ :{ These dudes really allow the opposing team to dictate how they play :{ :{ They're going to waste away the prime of our young guys with bad coaching the same way they wasted the prime of Romo, the old oline, Witten, Ware, Ratliff, Barber and Newman :{

Garrett said there's no long term concern with Dez's back. That's pretty much a death sentence there.

Clarence Hill ‏@clarencehilljr 4m
Stephen jones said Dez Bryant's back problems are more muscular than skeletal. No long term concern

Charean Williams ‏@NFLCharean 33m
Jerry says "nobody knows" whether @hatcher97 will play this week. Hatch is on practice field, but Jerry says it'll be game-time decision.

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins 17m
Hatcher was worried about the nerve damage in his arm. He's doing drills.
Dez Bryant just made a leaping catch on a pass thrown behind him.

Bryan Broaddus ‏@BryanBroaddus 20m
“@Allencb2: @BryanBroaddus Any update on Wilcox and Claiborne?” Out.
Jerry Jones on 105.3 The Fan just said he had no knowledge of @DezBryant having any issues with his discs in his back.

Todd Archer ‏@toddarcher 25m
Practice squad WR Tim Benford working on CB BW Webb. Simulating work vs Jimmy Graham perhaps?
Mo Claiborne, Miles Austin doing rehab work for hamstrings

Jon Machota ‏@jonmachota 31m
Jerry Jones said #Cowboys DT Jason Hatcher (stinger) couldn't play if there was a game today, will be a game-time decision Sunday.

My hate for Miles Austin grows by the week

The only hope I have left at this point is he can comeback after the bye an be 100% going into the playoffs an be of some use, outside of that he isn't worth a quarter... but then again, even if he was we wouldn't know based off our offensive "scheme".

Glad it's a SNF game this week... Cowboys have been really messing with my ability to do work being on at 1pm.

I see Terrence Williams getting behind the secondary twice for long touchdowns.
Barry Church practiced all week.
Hatcher was able to practice Friday.
Hopefully not having a long flight allowed Hatcher to get more treatment.
Saints don't scare me. Dudes talking about they play worse in the cold.
Brees played his college ball at Purdue. Gets pretty cold there.
Last I checked Saints don't have any one from the islands on their roster.
Dez might have a Megatron type of game tonight!

I think it will be low scoring until the second half, similar to the Detroit game.

Dez should do numbers but we seriously need to feed Demarco the rock.

game day :hat

reports seem good for dez.... hopefully he has no setbacks during the game & can rest up some more during the upcoming bye week.

saints are a good team, but they've proven to be beatable. hopefully this is one of those games where since dallas plays to their competition, we really show up.

hoping for more of a running game tonight (as always)

I wanna see a "coming out" game today from Dunbar or Escobar, like Tayvon Austin is having today. (Unlikely I know) We could definitely use it for this game.

Don't ask me why but I have a feeling Bruce Carter is going to show out today. A really good feeling :lol
