THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || 3-6 Next Game 11/18 vs. Texans Monday Night Football

Romo didn't play bad per se, but he was underthrowing open receivers down field and look like he was still shaking off some rust.

Clearly he's not fully recovered from surgery yet.
not sure if he is ever going to regain the arm strength or velocity, still gonna wait a few weeks before I form a concrete stance on that

it is something I was concerned about heading into the season but i'm going to give him about 4 weeks before I say he can't throw it down the field anymore

better than last week though, that is a start

I don't care bout the stats
. To me he doesn't look good. His arm looks weak and he looks alot slower . I'm happy he didn't throw a pick and we got a win.

we kicked a lot of fg. 4 and 2 tds...

Guy goes 19-29 165 Yards 1 TD 0 INT, 93.5 Rating. By no means a great performance, but that is bad?

Of course there's still rust, and he doesn't move as well, to be expected.

But it feels like some of you seem to expect him to go 25-30 290 Yards, 3TDs, 0 INT

We get it, some of you don't like him. But for Christ Sake, there's a difference between looking great, looking good, and looking mediocre, and looking bad. Romo looked good. And if you place it with Week 1, it looks only better.

By no means an A+ performance, but at least a B-
Whoa now, chill out

What are u talking bout , saying we don't like Romo. I've been a strong supporter for yrs.

All I said was I'm still worried. Most of the balls he threw yesterday lacked "zip" & personally I'm scared for him to go deep down the field until he feels he is fully back

The best one he threw was the scramble to the right, hitting dez for the first down.

Don't usually quote myself but yesterday's win felt so good.
Tennessee annihilated the Chiefs, and everybody said we were gettin smashed too.
That man defense with a zone down the middle was phenomenal.
Can't wait until Sunday to see if we can get on a roll.

For the people who wanted us to take Manziel. Looks like we'll get a similar chance with Jameis Winston in the 1st Round.

Jameis Winston isn't doing anything most college guys don't do.
The fraternity dudes do the same crap and you never hear about it.

They wouldn't have that much of a problem if dude wasn't accused of rape, Winston has to be smarter than that.

Exception of rape, as someone on twitter said his crimes make him look like Dennis The Menace.

The fact that it keeps happening though will drop him in the draft. As to how far? Who knows. But if he falls to us, don't think they'll pass unless a DL dropped really far.

Murray is tied for best Fantasy RB with Sproles so far.

Also should be another big game for him, Rams are 29th on Rush Defense, 5th Pass Defense YPG.

Praying for that repeat of 2011 25 carries, 253 Yards, 1 TD or last years 26 carries, 175 Yards, 1 TD

DeMarco.

Third straight week with a fumble.

First thing I said when they showed the replay was "he got tripped, where's the flag?!?"
How does a referee standing on the field not see that?

Watched the Niners - Bears game last Sunday and they were calling the push off all game.
Receiver clearly pushes off on Claiborne and they choose not to call it.

Needed that score badly.

Problem is the defense has to take the field now.

Good drive. Needed that.
Can't help but notice how slow Kyle Wilber is.
Linebackers are hurting us today.

See what happens when you commit to a running game?
