THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || 4-7 Next Game 11/28 vs. Giants Vol. Thanksgiving

You didn't say anything about people standing up at their seats, you said real fans are in the party pass section which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I guess anyone who's a "real" Cowboys fan has to stand up all day or they're just "fake" fans. :rolleyes
You know just like I do that the loudest people in that stadium are in the party pass sections.
Matter of fact, season ticket holders in several other cities stand nearly the whole game, and they have seats to sit in.

I stand up the whole game and I apologize to the folks behind me before hand, my sections gets pretty crazy especially because it's half cowboys fans and half away fans.

That's the point we're making.
You shouldn't have to apologize.
It's a football game, you are supposed to be loud and crazy.

Mavs and Rangers fans still know how to have fun.
The San Antonio series this year was electric.
I was at game 3 when Vince hit that three to win it.
Nobody said anything to me about standing.

Matter of fact, I was at the '09 Eagles playoff game in the party pass section.
Cowboys stadium was crunk that night.
When Felix Jones broke that long touchdown run it was just as loud as Seattles stadium.

It's Jerrys fault, I sell half my tickets because the tickets are so profitable. If tickets weren't so expensive/profitable we wouldn't be having these problems. I hate selling my tickets but the season is expensive (and having to pay full price for preseason tickets is straight BS)

Yep, I posted yesterday about season ticket holders selling their tickets, and using the money for next season.
If you can sell half your tickets and make enough money to buy a full season, I would do it with no hesitation.

All of this.

I've been boycotting AT&T for Cowboys games since day 1.

I went to a couple games a year back during the Texas Stadium days as a extra young n!gga... there was so much passion and crazy things that went down every time you went. It didn't matter who the opponent was or what the score was, 90% of the fans were locked in every play. I had front row seats to the Browns game back when Kellen Winslow was in his rookie year. We ended up winning but the Browns scored a garbage time TD and tried to kick an onside kick, we recovered it... sealing the game up but Winslow got hurt on the play. These two Cowboys fans were going at his neck while he was getting put on the cart, screaming at the top of their lungs "I THOUGHT YOU WERE A F'N SOLIDER?!?!?!?, YOU OVERRATED PIECE OF SH**!!!" He was definitely bothered and gave dudes the finger as he was pulling off

This was the 3rd game of the year and dude had tore his ACL

Women flashing folks at the tailgate, as a middle-schooler it was

Point is, the games used to be an all day event with everyone's mindset being the same, Go Cowboys-Kill The Opposition-Have Fun Like It's A Frat Party. Now people go and watch like it's their quiet living room with the passiveness of a preseason game.
LMFAO I thought you were a f'n soldier you overrated piece of ****!!!!!!! BAAAAAAAAA HAHAHAHAHA

You know it's funny how we are talking about the new stadium being quiet. I remember going to my first game at Texas Stadium 7 years ago against the Deadskins and it WAS LIVE. I went with my older brother (half-brother) and I remember us screaming at the top of our lungs. Everybody giving each other high fives and the people behind us, next to us, and in front of us were cussing and cheering at the top of their lungs. Everybody stood the whole game. Man it was intense. We won that game and remember on the way out everybody was CHANTING "DEADSKINS SUCK! DEADSKINS SUCK! DEADSKINS SUCK!"

Fast forward to last year and me and my little bro (real brother, first cowboys game for, first time for me in the new stadium) have tickets to the 'Boys vs Rams game. On the way there I'm hyping it up and telling him how much fun it is. I told him it was probably going to be way better since it is a new stadium. We had fun screaming and cheering but we had to have been the only ones in our section doing so. :{
The environment was totally DIFFERENT. The people behind us sat the entire time! Even my family was quiet! :{
My bro had a blast but I told him the first time I went it was way better and I promised to take him to another game against a rival or of importance.

So I took him to the Niners game last week and we both thought that the time before was more fun. :lol

Out of the other 10-15 Cowboys fans in our section only about a fifth of us were cheering throughout the whole game.
I was just like , DAMN.

Tony Romo in the following game after throwing 3 or more INT in a losing effort: 68.7 completion percentage, 1,875 yards, 10 TD/5 INT. But a 3-4 record in those seven games. 1-4 on the road.

ecruteakcityboy ecruteakcityboy bro believe me when I tell you, the party pass section is where all the fun is.
I've had seats. I've been in the Legends Club.
I've been down there behind the players bench.
None of that is more fun than the party pass.
Because its an actual party atmosphere.

Think about it this way.
If you have a game party at home, your going to have lots of things going on.
Some people playing dominoes, some people playing cards.
Maybe even some people in another room playing madden or 2k.
The party pass section is the same way.
You got some people watching every play of the game.
You got some people mingling and just chilling.
And you have some people doing both.

People frown at standing but the party pass sections are basically lower level seats and have a great view of the field.

Who agrees that if this team starts out 1-3, Garrett is unemployed as of Monday September 29?

Garrett should have never been hired as the HC

if that what it takes to have him gone, Ill take it with a smile on my face.

We will definitely beat the Rams. Titans I'm pretty confident about.

From my perspective, the key to the season is the 6 games after Seahawks game.

vs. NYG, vs. WAS, vs. AZ, @JAX, @NYG, vs. PHI

If we want the division, and want to sneak into the playoffs, those string of games is what will decide it.

Jerry was so out of touch with football when he hired Garrett.
He was all about the stadium at that time.

Was looking at the schedule and thought the same exact thing. Looking at our December schedule, we'll have to win all 6 of those game in addition to the next two against the Titans and Rams to make the playoffs......

Soooooooooo :lol

Even though Dallas is a better team than Jacksonville, New York, and Washington, and they could win games against Arizona and Philly at home imo... Them having the mental stability to win 6 in a row?!?! :rollin :rollin :rollin Nah. And if they don't win those 6 the season will really be over, cause we're losing those last 4.

This game against the Titans reminds me of the Seattle and KC games past two seasons, really don't feel comfortable here. Easily see Locker lighting us up for 300 if we don't find a pass rush early.

Yall have to remember it's guys on this team that weren't here two and three seasons ago.
They don't have that same mentality.
Kiffin and Marinelli have instilled some toughness into this team.
I saw a team Sunday that went hard for 60 minutes.
The interceptions were bad but at least we were moving the ball.

I knew the game was over the second Murray had his fumble returned, before the Romo picks even happened. If one thing bad happens to the team early, they just fold. I agree the D has been better at trying, but the not the O. That's on Romo and Garrett....

Agreed. Defense always fought to keep us in games, usually a stupid mistake by the O which leads to putting the D in a tough spot.

Don't get me wrong, the O is by far the better unit.

But for example, look at how the game started for both sides. Offense fumble-TD, then mistake after mistake.

Defense starts out horribly too with San Francisco driving up the filed in under 2 minutes, but other than that, they played well the entire game and didn't allow that bad start to kill em.

Honestly can't remember the last time under Romo and Garrett that the Offense started right off the bat with mistakes and still won the game.... The Buffalo Monday night game????? :lol

Those 6 games I posted, they have to go 5-1. 4-2 is passable, but 5-1 makes other 9 games less pressure.

Anything worse than 4-2 is disaster.

I'll have to try it out sometime.
We got there early for the game and I saw people lining up outside of the stadium.
Then once they opened the stadium I saw them sprinting... Didn't know why ... until I got into the stadium myself. :lol
