THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || 4-7 Next Game 11/28 vs. Giants Vol. Thanksgiving

At least we looked better than we did in last 3 games. Disappointed in final result though.

:{

How do you botch the last play like that? You take it early or get up and run the play.......................SMH

Damn near 8 seconds went to waste at the end :{

I don't know what's worst, losing like that, or gettin embarrassed on national TV by Chicago

I look forward to Cam regaining his ROY magic against us next week.

Because you know that's what gonna happen.

They need a team psychologist, life coach, educational LeapFrog games... some !+%*. These dudes are remedial.

Another classic game were the boys find a way to lose.

Dallas could have snuck out a tuff victory and got on a roll.

But the ultimate flash and tease the variant 88 teases us yet again.

No way in Hell Irvin drops that pass.

Why was the clock management so piss poor ?

and we wonder why we miss the playoffs.

Romo aint the problem. If orton was QB we would have not even sniffed the endzone

lets not front guys , Romo Carved the ravens up today minus the 1 pick. Special teams , penalties , and lack of mental awareness cost us a game

welcome to the modern day cowboys football.

Same problems every week. Nothing's gonna change. Weekly penalties, dropped passes, interceptions, etc. They don't learn from their mistakes...not only the players but the coaches.

They will always have a 7-9 win ceiling every year because they just don't "get" it

HOW DO WE STILL NOT FIX PENALTIES... WE JUST WENT ON A BYE. It's Always about discipline, and we've yet to find it. I want a players coach that gets into the Players A**'s and demands perfection and no excuses.

That PAST Decade WE GET PENALIZED for the stupidest calls... illegal formation 2 times in a row. Holding calls that didnt even need to be holding, romo either threw it, or RB was already through the hole.

It shocks me how we beat the giants. IF IT WAS ANY OTHER TEAM, that recovered that onside they would of gotten the W. The Phins, Browns, heck even Quin w/ the cheifs, would of won that game.

Dallas can never win those kinds of games..

3rd and 14 you put a L'Backer on Boldin?????? Last Time I checked dude is a Starting WR.

We deserve to have our wins stripped. Not even half into the season, I'm already fed up with this team.

ONLY bright side I look into, which is a stretch.

Giants, go 0-4, get called bums coughlin's job is on the line. Wins the SB vs Undefeated Pats.

Last Year, Team suspect goes 8-8 skates by. Giants, wins the Superbowl.
  1. The Season isn't finished... but one more Loss, that should be a WIN, I'm Done.
I see cam next week, having his best game this season... every slum this year we play, will look like a superstar.

Too many penalties & terrible clock management at the end. Romo came through with a nice game, especially down the stretch with him constantly finding Witten. Dez came up big with that TD, but he needs to deliver on that 2 point conversion.

They had their chances at the end, they just couldn't deliver. Whether it be on that 2 point conversion or coming through on that onside kick & missing that FG... The opportunities were there, they just couldn't cash in. :\

I hate putting a Blame on ONE player, It's A Team game... The INT Romo threw, Yeah it was a INT but Was a good diving catch to the defense. I don't expect an outstanding game. But When It came to scoring He moved the ball like a General.

We're Forgetting Special Teams when Jacoby ran it back, IF we just stopped that series this forum would be in a different direction, we would be celebrating that W. But I can live in WHAT IF... We lost and embraced it... We are 2-3, Cool. Packers just were, until Houston. I believe there is hope...

Yeah, but we dont get to see the whole play.. on that Romo INT Ogletree was not running at full speed on that route, I think Jason Garrett and Romo shouldnt get ANY BLAME for what happened in the last 26 seconds.. Romo is screaming for everyone to get back to the line.. and Dez has the ball in his hands arguing with the ref.. how dumb is that?

By the way.. I still have faith in the Cowboys making the playoffs.. theyre #1 in the league in Defense, and #6 in the league in Offense.. thats only a recipe for success..

Dez was actually not at fault here. On Football Night in America or whatever that NBC show is, Ogletree AND Miles Austin were both 30 yards away from Romo and were taking their own time walking back to the huddle. Ogletree owned up to it and said he was at fault for not hustling but Miles Austin, which some people will find uncharacteristic, said "No Comment" and directed the reporters to ask the HC (Jason Garrett). Imagine if that was Dez walking back to the huddle with only 19 seconds left just standing around giving such a lackadasical effort? We'd never hear the end of it. But because it was Miles Austin, its not media news, which is probably why this is the first time you guys are hearing about it Dez actually was giving the ref who was closest to him the ball and was clamoring for him to spot the ball so they can run a play. That took all but 2-3 seconds while Miles and Ogletree are standing still near the Ravens end zone.

There were several different things going on here:

Romo trying to get everyone to the line
Dez clamoring with the ref and giving the ball back (which took no more than 2 seconds)
Ogletree and Miles walking around near the Ravens end zone
Jason Garrett having a brain fart

P.S.: Miles was wide open on that play and if ROmo looked his diretion would have actually been an easy TD. I think this is why Miles Austin's comments to the media about him "walking" back to the huddle kinda hinted at some animosity.

"“Coach'll handle that,” Miles Austin said when repeatedly asked for an explanation of why he jogged back to the line of scrimmage like it was the middle of the fifth day of practice in Oxnard, Calif., instead of the end of a Week 5 game in Baltimore"

^^ Can't post the full article because I'm at work.

Im so glad folks in here (some) realize Dez was not the only burden barer sp? with this loss. all i have to say.:{

If it's not one thing, it's always another with this team.

I never had confidence we'd win the game this past Sunday....NEVER. Why? Because we don't have a leader, whether it be simply leading by example or verbally, nobody steps up when it's needed most.

I hope Romo randomly gets that Dirk Nowitzki fire in his veins now that he's getting older, I'm not blaming him for this lost either, just saying this team lacks a leader badly. Having all the talent in the world will not get us to the playoffs in this division, there's plenty of that on every team, you need that championship pedigree to separate yourself....Coughlin gets in people's a** and Eli leads by example in the biggest games year in, year out :{

Played well in the 1st half.

Had a nice long drive but had to settle for a FG.

Got another good drive going but of course Miles fumbles the ball leading to the Panthers only TD.
