Went to Up There (Melbourne, AUS) yesterday and surprisingly they had them sitting there earlier, grabbed a pair.

don't know what the deal is with some pairs having a translucent outsole but mine doesn't

I took some pics of the shoe box tag / shoe itself.

Could it be that there are 2 variants releasing? One with a translucent outsole and one without? I'm confused...

I gotta see these in person. I wasn't a fan of them when they originally came out and I'm not sure if I'm a fan of them now. There is one colorway I see that I did actually like tho. Nice pick up nonetheless for you

i did some browsing on IG and all i see are the DLXs with the solid orange outsole, seems like we got fooled by the early IG pics from retailers where they have used the unreleased sample from nike for their website/IG pics

similar fit but they’re a little more narrow on the toe box so you might wanna half size up depending on your foot shape

so i will need these in size 8.5 the same size as my 97s

So I noticed that these had been pulled from the Size? Preview app, I went into my local Size? this morning and asked about them and was told they weren't being released this week by the manager who is usually spot on with info.

I’d recommend you going for a 11, AM98’s have a wider toe box as compared to the 97’s / deluxe

Looks like Europe and Asia on the 12th, US is at a later unknown date. Probably late July/early August. I’m definitely gonna hold out until an official US release. They’re not even on SNKRS yet so I doubt they release here in 2 days.
