Should Vol. 2 have a new thread or keep it here?

Seems like the rumored release was February / NBA All Star game. This is really the first time in a very very long time I’ve been keenly interested in a pair of Adidas hoop sneakers. Can’t wait to see them in person; trying to remain cautiously optimistic lol

They’re honoring it

I should be getting mine tomorrow, but were the shoes hard to put on? And how do they feel size wise & comfort?
Only had time to try mine on, but will have them on the court in the morning … The booty isn’t hard to get on nothing like the traes… they would’ve benefited from a pull tab in the front though. Boost is only in the heel.

Nice and good to hear fellas, sounds like a good hoop shoe already. The Trae's are def really hard to put on. I thought I saw that the Vol 7's have a pull tab in the front?

Also send pics when you get a chance if you can! 🙏

What's the court feel like from trying them on? Low to the ground?

Just give me a official release date and I’m there. I won’t be surprised to see them pop up in Finish Lines and JD Sports soon enough.

Adidas keeps playing with their implementation of boost. I wonder if they’re getting negative feedback from their players about forefoot boost. Maybe players prefer bounce in the forefoot for more court feel. Idk 🤷🏻‍♂️. But I do agree, if you’re going to strip tech you should lower the price.

I also heard from multiple NTers that 6s were heavy but didn’t feel heavy on feet.

Feels like full length caged boost. From sitting outside in 30 degree weather they felt stiff and adidas has never fully caged the boost on the hoop shoes and you can’t really feel them without much motion. Once you get moving they pretty much feel like a refined vol 1 underfoot. Bootie is easy to get in and out of. Went with my Nike size and they are on the money. Laces are the thick ropes like on the byw x with no lace pressure…

Just got mine in the mail, they still feel a bit heavy and tried on one shoe, like you mentioned a bit stiff from the get go. Hopefully I can test them out tom, keep us posted on how they felt after your run this morning.
