^ where'd you get the jersey from? Only thing I ever see on ebay and aliexpress is either a bunch of crap looking ones, or bundles that come with shorts 

eBay seller called slamdunkteam, they have the best jerseys out of the ones I've seen on eBay. The shorts are sold separately with them. They also the only ones I've seen with the kenji on them.

I believe he wore the White, Infrared, and Black 6s, the White, Varsity Red, and Black 6s weren't released until 2010. Slam Dunk takes place in the '90s (manga was from 1990 to 1996). The Black and Red 1s that Hanamichi wore near the end could be the original or the 1994 retro (I'm leaning towards the 1994 retro). Also I hope to secure these and if they remaster the White, Infrared, and Black 6s with Nike Air or should I secure the Infrared 23 version with Jumpman Air since the Varsity Red, Varsity Red, and White (Slam Dunk) 6 has Jumpman Air also?

Haha yes, Ive seen and read slam dunk. But when you watch the anime his 6s are not infrared. They are varsity, the animators didn't make em the legit color makes sense to skip that detail, honestly. Also the 1s he had are supposed to be the 85' originals, remember the shop owner denying the collector because he doesn't wear the kicks. I got those, theyre just beat to hell lol Next is my 94 pair and the 16s. I might get the 01s or banned maybe the 13's. Still on the fence about it.

Sidenote: 2010 white/varsity quality was way better than the 2 white/infrared retros weve seen in the past years.

Yeah, now that I think about it they are the original 1985 version. Also I have the scans of that part:

Also if you're securing these I wouldn't worry about the 2013 version. The 2011 special edition were not as high as the 2001 and 2013 versions.

You Lie. The varsity red 6 quality was pretty bad. While the leather was softer, it was paper thin like the Orion 7s and creased with a gust of wind.

Yeah, in the anime Hanamichi didn't get to show his true potential like in the manga and I was angry how the manga ended.

that's not what I'm saying, the leather is very thin and creases when you pic it up, my CMs don't do that. But it's my opinion

I still don't mind thin soft leather and creases. Haha i remember seeing them in person. I didn't have any money at the time and they were on sale. Ah man, if I just had 109 bucks. I tried them on and everything. Now I cant find em anywhere in Mint for less than 300. We all have our preferences. Leather wise the varsitys are softer than the most recent infrareds. I have the 01 royals and people hate that the sole is thin. I actually like that a lot. Different stroke, different folks.

For me o want 3-4 pairs. Aside from cement Iv I haven't copped anything and I probably won't so I'm really just here for the bred 1.

Most likely won't be copping anything all summer til then since I'm not a fan of anything else really

I'm in the same boat. Only copped Red Supreme AM98s this year. Probably get the IV's soon and the BM V's and thats it until September. These bred's are dropping a week before my b-day too so that's even more incentive for me to grab a couple pairs.
