honestly we see the difference even on the nike store pics... yes, it's strange, why change... (otherwise the new NBY box is really really cool compared at the old black ID box)

Maybe they adjusted the build to fix the upfront creasing that most AM1's suffer since the updated shape...

Damn. That bit of a difference in the curvature of the toe box (or lack there of) makes a significant difference in the whole shoe. At least the render is true to the actual product. :/

The mudguard still seems the same so it seems like they’re just missing a step in the process like leaving them on the shoe last longer to help curve the toe. I’m going to try and stuff the toe and see if I can curve them by pressing it with my thumb. If I can fix it, I’ll keep them. Tracking says my pair should be here tomorrow.

This would actually make sense...and im slowly coming around to this idea
Since my feet are narrow i get weird toe dent on the side of my AM1 Anniversaries and the new AM90s with the new shape. I thought maybe it was just my foot shape + shoe shape didn't work out since i don't really fill out the toe box area.

but if it was a prevalent complaint...i think id take cliff toe over toe dent if the shape holds better on the former
