Wait, are we supposed to retire from the world of sneakers when we turn 50??? I may have skipped the small print on that one.

I'm well past my expiration date, longer in the tooth than many on these boards I frequent. Vintage Polo, Nike, Mercedes... I frequent these boards cause i was there the
first time the joint dropped. That legendary shoe, shirt, car is legendary because of MY set rushing out and copping and giving it that status. You know how on this board we talk about '87s? Well,
I'm talking about
'87.
Literally. And it's so... interesting... to read the perspective of guys 10, 20, even 25 years younger than myself and what they think they are going to be like in "old age". Oh, don't get me wrong, you will definitely change, (as one should). And your
priorities had damn well
better change. You WILL "fall back." And most definitely you should not be a tick-over-middle-aged dude trying to dress like NLE Choppa and them. But the concept that you just hang up your "fresh" and start dressing like Albert Einstein or something, that you lose your eye for "heat", that you ain't gonna splash through at the bbq occasionally... just, no. The above will all make sense... 20 years from now.
