THE OFFICIAL AIR MAX 1 THREAD

I just received chlorophylls from stockx in the same size I purchase all my AM1s in. The left shoe is a little tight but it mostly feels like the uppers are really stiff. The right shoe is super tight especially in the toe box area. They're unwearable. Do these just run really tight due to the stiff materials?

I was under the impression these fit like the patta waves which were kinda roomy.

I was about to to pull the trigger on a 11.5 but I wait to hear the consensus

My pair actually fits TTS

I remember my pair being snug during the first wear. But since then, they fit comfortably. I went with TTS.

Huh... this post made me realize I've never put mine on my feet. Size 12 US: in my go-to Polo socks, toe box was definitely snug. Changed into some super thin socks I have and the toe box was much better. I'll have to be selective in sock choice with these. May just need a day of walking around, too.

Ok but are the shoes ok? What are you expecting Nike to do? Small box didn't do that. Looks like a problem in transit.
I love posts like these.

"Ok but are the shoes ok?"
Yes - but I am a shoe collector. You probably dont understand

"What are you expecting Nike to do?"
I'd like a refund if I am not compensated.

There is always a risk when you package an item that fits perfectly with the contents. Small box did do it as it was damaged during transit. A better packaged item could have mitigated the damage. You can research that all day.

At the end of the day, nobody wants to wait 3 months for something just for it to come wet and with a crushed box just to have customer support say "we will email you in 3-5 business days to talk."

You never mentioned the shoe condition once. Your box got wet in transit. And yes I definitely understand. I'm a shoe head who used to deal with warranty claims for Nike. Don't assume so much about people. Good luck with that. You can definitely get a refund.

Wait, are we supposed to retire from the world of sneakers when we turn 50??? I may have skipped the small print on that one.

[The following are just my musings, and no reflection on any views in any other post. ]

I'm well past my expiration date, longer in the tooth than many on these boards I frequent. Vintage Polo, Nike, Mercedes... I frequent these boards cause i was there the first time the joint dropped. That legendary shoe, shirt, car is legendary because of MY set rushing out and copping and giving it that status. You know how on this board we talk about '87s? Well, I'm talking about '87. Literally. And it's so... interesting... to read the perspective of guys 10, 20, even 25 years younger than myself and what they think they are going to be like in "old age". Oh, don't get me wrong, you will definitely change, (as one should). And your priorities had damn well better change. You WILL "fall back." And most definitely you should not be a tick-over-middle-aged dude trying to dress like NLE Choppa and them. But the concept that you just hang up your "fresh" and start dressing like Albert Einstein or something, that you lose your eye for "heat", that you ain't gonna splash through at the bbq occasionally... just, no. The above will all make sense... 20 years from now.

Has any1 try to return their Polys? Yeah one tongue is longer than the other smh
im trying but they will only talk via email and will take 3-5 business days to respond. still waiting on a response. I reached out via instagram and they just directed me to wait for an email.
their policy is no refunds but I dont know how it applies to damaged/defective items.

Like a few have said here these definitely fit more snug compared to the waves. My usual size is really snug but not unwearable. Actually looked to see if I could find a really thin insole for them to make them a bit more comfortable but haven't bought anything yet.

There's nothing to understand but you gonna learn that soon enough Buddy. I approached your post like I would any of my old warranty claims... Just asking for the important information. Once you get over your ego maybe you can get some help. Don't let being a mod got to your head now. I'd give you a refund and tell you to beat it with that attitude.
