a solid gold semi large cross would increase da profile alot more.

Thinking of buying my first gold chain but still have debating on what to exactly purchase. I want a diamond cut rope chain either a 5mm or 6mm. I want an everyday wear, so I don’t want something too flashy. Are 5mm and 6mm too big ? I’m looking to purchase from Sarraf or Jacoje. Also debating between a 14kt and 18kt. I’ve read a 14kt I’d more durable than an 18kt and if I am planning to use it as an everyday wear I assume I should go towards a 14kt?

A 6mm rope will get noticed a lot , If we talking everyday wear . I say get a 4 or 5 mm rope in 14k , no longer than 25 inches .

1mm is def a big jump when dealing with the smaller sized chains.

guess since its a cylinder, when you scale it up it has to be completely even on all sides, hence da dramatic climbs in size every notch up.
