- Police say a black Chevrolet Camaro with a driver and a passenger circled the gas station looking for a victim before spotting Bellamy because of his chain
- The passenger gets out of the car and shoots Bellamy as he attempts to run away
- Bellamy throws his gold chain and turns over his possessions to the gunman
- Authorities say the chain Bellamy was wearing is valued at around $8,500
- Bellamy has since been released from the hospital and is expected to be OK
- Police are now asking for help in identifying and capturing the perpetrator

Surveillance cameras have captured the shocking moment a brazen thief shot and robbed a man in broad daylight at a Florida gas station.
The incident occurred on March 30 around 7pm at an Exxon gas station off West Sunrise Boulevard in Lauderhill.
Police say that a driver and a passenger in a black Chevrolet Camaro were circling the gas station looking for their victim. They eventually settled on a man wearing a gold chain who got out of his car and walked inside to pay.

'The victim had a very large gold chain around his neck that was worth a lot of money,' Lt Michael Santiago told Local 10.
Video shows the Camaro slowly pull up behind the man's car before the passenger jumps out and pulls a gun on the victim as he walks back to his purple 1989 Chevrolet Caprice.

Now police are asking for the community's help to identify and catch the perpetrator.
'Without community involvement, it makes our job very, very tough,' Santiago told 7 News. 'Even with video, even with witnesses, it’s important that the community gets involved. Contact the Lauderhill Police Department.'
