(I saw the devil) In a Chrysler LeBaron
And the hell, it wouldn't spare us
(And the fires did declare us)
(But after that, took pills, kissed an heiress)

I'm sorry, but that's not hot.

Neither is that "blank and religious is all I need" track or the "Iran" sample (yes I know "Iran" took it from the same place Kanye took it, but everybody heard "Iran"...how are you gonna use it too).  I'm just trying to keep this discussion balanced.  Not everybody likes this record.

And I don't see this as growth.  Most of these tracks you could have thrown on Graduation or 808's and nobody would say they stood out like they didn't belong.  A lot of the production is just low-budget for Kanye, like he really put the songs together in 1 week for G.O.O.D. Friday, with a few exceptions of course.  I'm not going to act like I don't think Power, Runaway, Monster, and All of the Lights are fire.  But on a real Kanye album, there would be songs better than those.  I just hope his next record is worth the acclaim it will probably get no matter what the quality is.
I feel like that's my take on it. I don't see the growth everyone talks about and for the poster after this xsalv agree with him too. It just seems random and he just threw stuff into one album. Random words, random verses, etc. I do like the beasts sound different from Kanye, I guess I see growth there. Some hot samples, miss the old Kanye beats though kind of felt that from The Joy, Devil in a New Dress and Power though. Overall definitely overhyped, but something you can enjoy if you dont overanalyze it. Not close to touching CD or LR though.
I hated Runaway and Monster was good I just hated Nicki haha.

And what Pusha did the So Appalled beat was ridiculous word to Swizz.

Mr. Hudson has no prestige.. which is hard when your british.. your like born with it.

he needs to stop being a stereotype.. and be a bit more inventive

They missed the boat on a monster vid. Should've been dropped that if they were going to. I'm ready for All of the Lights now.

This.
Monster video should have been out around Halloween time to really make the whole theme work..

I love the album. I'm glad I opted not to listen to those G.O.O.D Friday tracks.
Fergie was so unnecessary.

Like, every guest verse I've heard from Jay this year has been awesome.

Blame Game is an astounding song. Kanye singing on it.

Chris Rock at the end was just great. Absolutely hilarious; my favorite comedian.

The end of Runaway is stupid.

LR > MBDTF ≥ CD > Graduation.

Complex pictures looking real dope.

Dude went overboard producing MBDTF and G.O.O.D Friday tracks.

You dudes need to read that article... apparently, after breakfast everyone would go to the YMCA and play b-ball with the locals... imagine showing up for a pick-up game at your local gym and picking teams with Common, Pusha T, and Kanye

Every morning after breakfast, Kanye and most everyone else (save for stoner Cudi; me, who opts for the treadmill rather than bodying myself on the court; and RZA, who keeps his god-body chiseled in the weight room) throws on gym shorts, heads to the Honolulu YMCA, and plays five or six games of 21 against the locals. How does Kanye play? Aggressively, but not to the point of being that miserably competitive **** no one wants to play against (or with). He's just balling—this is his momentof zen, when the questions go away.
