Im Epileptic and stared at that video a few times just to see if I got that feeling...not even close. Vid was weak anyway. Runaway Film version > HYPE

Uh... something seems to have not lasted with this album.

I want more rapping. Less sound effects.

The only Ye album I really play like that on a regular basis is definitely 808s followed by LR.
Releasing songs from your album months in advance is not a good idea. Oh well. If the album was more like GOOD FRIDAYS with less features, i'd have been content.

I know its a rough cut, I chuckled at the mumbling, but you can tell that Ye' really puts emotion into the music, even if he doesn't have the lyrics yet. Beat sounds nice too.

Kanye West Not Enrolling In Fashion School, Spokesperson Says

Reports that rapper applied to London's Central Saint Martins College are false, school spokesperson tells MTV News.

By James Montgomery (@positivnegativ)

He is already, in the words of the immortal Ray Davies, a "dedicated follower of fashion," but is Kanye West planning to take his love of all things haute couture to the next level by enrolling in a noted school of design?

According to U.K. tabloid The Sun, the answer is yes. In an article published Saturday, the newspaper reported that West has applied to London's prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design — whose alumni include Stella McCartney and the late Alexander McQueen — to study for a Master's degree in fashion.

The paper also reported that West flew to London last week to meet with the head of the College's fashion program, professor Louise Wilson, "a style dictator" with a feared reputation within the industry.

The Sun added that West had yet to be accepted into CSM's program, which was "no surprise, given his love of appalling outfits."

Of course, there could also be another reason West hasn't been accepted to the College: He never actually applied there. In a statement to MTV News, a spokesperson for Central Saint Martins said that West had no plans to study fashion at the school, adding that while he did visit last week, it wasn't to check up on his application for admission.

"Kanye West is not enrolling in [the] MA Fashion [program] at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design," Jo Ortmans, press officer for Central Saint Martins, wrote in an e-mail. "He visited the college last week on unrelated matters."

Regardless of whether he actually studies it or not, West has continued his fashion obsession in recent weeks, tweeting his admiration for Italian designer Valentino and bestowing "fresh" status on a kid in a junior-sized fur coat.

Kanye West's 'Monster' Video Wasn't Banned By MTV

'We are still awaiting the edits we requested in order for the video to be suitable for broadcast,' a statement from the network reads.
By MTV News staff

After an ornate moving portrait for "Power" and an elaborate short film for "Runaway," Kanye West commissioned a video for the next single from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, the Jay-Z- and Nicki Minaj-assisted "Monster."

In early December, a clip featuring Rick Ross arrived online, in which the Miami rapper chowed down on a piece of bloody meat. That was followed by a trailer a few days later with more gore than the initial tease.

The racy video then hit the Web a week later; however, it never made it to broadcast television. Over the weekend, reports on various entertainment blogs insisted that the "Monster" clip was banned from MTV.

The video was submitted to MTV, but it wasn't banned; rather, edits were requested based on the channel's decency standards.

"MTV has not banned Kanye West's 'Monster' video," the network said in a statement to MTV News. "We have been in constant communication with the label regarding this matter. However, we are still awaiting the edits we requested in order for the video to be suitable for broadcast."

The video borrowed liberally from horror-movie tropes ("Saw," "Night of the Living Dead" and "American Psycho," among others), but critics and fans lashed out at the production as "disturbing."

After the backlash, it appeared West backed away from the piece, which saw him performing with dead women at his bedside, Jay-Z rapping with a naked corpse face-down on a leather couch behind him and Nicki Minaj appearing in an executioner's chair.

As of press time, West had not commented on the matter.

Last month, West premiered his latest video, the Hype Williams-directed "All of the Lights" featuring Rihanna.
