After paying $180 for my ASG 8s and wearing hem out in under 3 months I think I'm done with the near $200 price tag kicks. I'm not trying to drop $1,000 on one year of bball shoes I wear so hard they get tossed.

Honestly I cannot see how u people like this. The flynit makes it like a running shoe. U people are quote peculiar

Using flyknit doesn't automatically make it a running shoe... Engineered Mesh was used on running shoes before they used it on the Kobe 8s, and the 8s are probably the most popular and best selling Kobes in the entire sig line now. People are skeptical cuz flyknit's never been used on a basketball shoe before, but we haven't even seen a final product yet, let alone worn them on feet to definitively say it doesn't work. With as well as EM worked on the 8s, I don't see why they can't make a great shoe featuring flyknit, even if they're gonna cost an arm and a leg at retail.

Less concerned with price, more concerned about colorway options. The FK Lunar 1s only have 2 options for the upper. Is that because it's too costly to produce or it's just not a popular ID model?

That's the other problem. If the 8s taught us anything it's that the pattern will make or break the shoe.

This site isn't really accurate about any specific release dates, but it's been fairly accurate about upcoming colorways in the past. Here's the list just with the Kobe 9s, been seeing this in a couple of the other threads too.
