The Official Mac Thread (Docs, Themes, Apps, Etc.)

WeatherDock displays weather information based on xml-feeds supplied by weather.com[emoji]174[/emoji]. It displays textual weather information as well as icon-based(text-to-speech too!). Next to the current conditions it contains 10 days forecast with 2 day-parts weather information.
It displays the current temperature and "feels like" temperature, the current sky conditions, pressure, wind speed, wind direction, humidity, Dewpoint, visibility and UV-index.
WeatherDock can display its weather information in many different ways, the most extended information is available in Weatherdock'smain window:
(sorry for my italian localization, the program is of course available in english)

Moreover it can show the current weather conditions in the dock icon, customizable by you by adding badges with additionalinformation.

Additionally you can choose to add the dock icon to your desktop constantly.
A fourth way to display weather information is as an addition to the menu bar, giving you the current conditions and additionalinformation directly in the menu.

All this information is loaded every time you start WeatherDock or change to a new location. You can force to reload all information by selecting 'Refreshweather' from the file menu (command-R), but please understand that the information isn't updated any more frequently on the server side too. Theseupdates will require at most a 10KB download every 2 hours, and about 2KB every 15 minutes.

alright fellas, this is to everybody who's got the older macbook and macbook pro's, i came across this while looking for a 4gb ram upgrade for myunibody. This is the BEST RAM for Mac computers and also the BEST price i have seen. Since the newer unibodies use DDR3, i will pass this down to you.Fry's currently has CRUCIAL 2x2gb Ram sticks for 36.99 with an option for in-store pickup..below the link i have posted a pic of my setup.

The HP is CLEARLY a better choice in terms of specs and price.
Tell me why I should still get the MBP.

Leopard is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Windows IMO. Much faster and easier to use to me.

The Windows vs Mac debate has never been about specs to me, it's about ease of use. Leopard is the truth.

Im still trying to get used to this MacBook, so far im not feeling it(especially since im already having hardware issues). I dont hate it, but dontlove it. Im glad it was only $500....

Im having issues outputting audio through the internal speakers. Ive tried everything, and im pretty good with computers. I even called the Tech Support, andhe directed me towards the Apple Store..... Edit: Also, how do i get it to where i can see the 'writing options' when im posting in a thread? (e.g.BOLD, ITALICS, FONT SIZE..etc.) :/ I think im gonna start using my PC.

about your speakers...is there a red light that's on inside the headphone slot?

still rocking with the Unibody MacBook, don't think i'll upgrade to the 13" MBP until Apple decides to give it a matte screen option (if they everdo).
