I really believe that this is the biggest reason why the UFC has a hard ceiling as a major sports organization.
As long as the idiot judges are still rewarding this type of tactical point fighting by grapplers, fighters will continue to do it and the sport will never be more popular than it is right now.
Which granted, is way more popular than I ever thought it would be.
