You have those two swap teams and I can almost guarantee you Clev becomes a MUCH better team. A lot of defensive mistake JR and Kyrie make will have been covered up by Draymond and Thompson. Would probably be the best frontcourt in the NBA.

The sentiment is that there are certain things Green does for your team which you cannot statistically quantify or have metrics for.

He just had the best offensive season in history but a huge margin, it's laughable that you think anything otherwise.

Draymond averaged 14 and 9.5
Now remember which one of the 2 were considered to be having a stagnant season until the playoffs and didn't get into a rhythm until they changed coaches in the middle of the season

I'm just saying, there really is no point of arguing something you will never be able to prove unless it happens.
I should mention that I agree with your position that Green would make the Cavs a better team because he can do a lot of the things they need him to do. There is just no way for me to prove that.

Dray is way more valuable than Love.
Honestly Love is not a good fit on the Cavs, they would be better served with a defender like Dray.
Love's defensive flaws outweigh his offense, when he's not hitting from the outside its ugly, he gives you nothing but good outlet passes.

Love definitely isn't a great fit for Cleveland. His style of play doesn't mesh well w/ Kyrie and LeBron's. A more dominate post player who can score is a better fit for that team

However it's not arguable that Draymond Green on the Golden State Warriors is better than Kevin Love on the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was a nightly triple double for a 70 win team.

I think Love is a better fit for CLE than Draymond would be.
Due to Kyrie and LeBron already being dominant ball-handlers in Cleveland, it would take away from Draymond's ability to create for himself and others, off of the dribble.
So the, "Swap them" argument might not favor Draymond because I think he would suffer more in a situation where he couldn't really be the 1B Dominant Ball Handler, like he is in GSW.
But they have different skillsets at this point. Depends on which one you prefer

How are their roles different? Basically the same except Love is worse in that role. Cleveland would be terrifying with Dray instead of Love. GS gets much worse with Love instead of Dray.
