Tht AND Shroeder AND Kcp when the team was 21-7 when healthy.
Saying it as “…didn’t wanna trade tht for Lowry” is disingenuous and makes it seem like it’s a 1 for 1 trade.
For the record: Lowry was hurt during this time and then went to Miami for 3/90 which is a terrible contract and hasn’t done didley squat there so that was a perfect non trade

And after DECADES without one [for more than a szn or already washed but still nice like Priggy Smalls], NY is now set for the next 8+ years if they play this correct.
The next leader is sitting 3rd string right now. While he sits he’s soaking up the perfect game to maximize his potential. And some game from a HoFer too.
Much prefer the pass first traditional lead guard & Deuce is that to a fault. The better athlete of the two diminutive guards but ofc doesn’t have the craft down like Brunson. And a dawg unlike Frank NT or Kevin Knox so no worries about him failing Thibs’ intense demands. Defense the calling card which is why he wanted him in the first place.
