I’ve wanted Zion to right the ship but what type of players fit around someone who doesn’t rebound, doesn’t play D, can’t shoot and only makes an effort when he has the ball.
The thing with him getting in shape as well is that his greatest asset currently is his girth (pause). If he really slims down m, not sure what exactly he’ll be good at.

If herb can’t play defense he really handicaps their offense.
It’s extremely difficult to play Jonas, Herb & Zion in a starting lineup. Lebron was playing 10 feet off Zion and AD was happy to let Jonas shoot threes. No idea what New Orleans is supposed to do with that many non-shooters.
The other option is to go the other way with Murphy and Hawkins but they are too young/light right now.

Easier said than done getting high motor, versatile players, but considering the draft picks and flexibility they had 3-4 years ago it wasn't unrealistic.
They do get credit for hitting on Murphy, Jones and Alvarado. Daniels is TBD and Hawkins is living up to his rep as a shooter.

SGA will be playing 40 minutes in the playoffs.
Anybody who doesn’t complement him should be on the trading block.
