The Celtics have about 40 retired jerseys and maybe only 30% were DRose caliber….

You have to win championships and/or multiple MVPs to be esteemed

Another thing about D Rose has been his attitude. He stayed out of trouble. He repped his city. I don’t recall him complaining or requesting trades or anything. When he was traded his heartfelt reaction was touching. The tough side of the business.

He never complained just worked hard to become a valuable veteran his later years. Seems to be a solid family man.

Put his jersey in the rafters. Sometimes it’s not all about the tangible numbers.

He is loved.
