Nah, Lebron 9’s are dope!

IMO 1-11 (Minus 5, 6), 15, 20, all solid in the Lebron line. Nike moving away from marketing ad’s after the 8’s was pretty much death of Bron line.

Nike/JB have been a disaster innovating new shoes where they dope on and off the court. Hence a big reason they losing some ground in the sneaker world as older models is all they rely on.

In reality Jordan 1-13 are only J’s people mess with. Everything post 13 is select cult classic at best (I Love 16, 17’s tho).

Jordan 1-13 are only shoes we see retro too which means, shoes that Originally released in 1984-1997, 1997 was almost 30 years ago lol.

Not a better sport but they putting out a better product and effort. I don't expect this thread to acknowledge that cuz most probably don't watch football or just fell in love with the NBA watching this era so ANY criticism is not allowed.

I am not into shoes like that anymore, but I hate the "Yeezyfication" of basketball shoes. Like the AE1 isn't moving me like that. It looks like a shoe I would wear if I lived on the moon.

I would rather wear the Book 1 it looks cooler. The Sabrina's are great shoe as well.

… that’s only because Jordan retired after the 14s. People were accustomed to him WEARING the shoes. The 14s, 16s, 17s, 18s, 19s, 21 and 23 are still GREAT looking shoes. Performance wise also.

Even though he played in the 17s and 18s. Again, most of those after the 13s aren’t heralded only because he was retired and no longer playing

There were a ton of hyped pairs of Kobe pre-death and retirement. And these are just the Xmas ones. He had a lot. People were saying Kobe's were the same. Huh? He had the most advanced tech at the time. NBA players flocked to his shoes.

Games were great but the visual aspect was lacking.

No Christmas uniforms , no special shoes or shoes that anybody actually cared for.

Ehh Jordan did wear the 14s, granted not for long. Hell, he sealed a finals in them, and theyre still not really sought after as the 1-13.

3 games in 11 days was insane but like you said, the actual quality really doesn't even make a difference at this point

Only custom pair I ended up actually getting was a Kobe V.

Was a cool time though with NikeID and Bespoke, couldn't picture general consumers getting that level of customization/choice nowadays
