The Official NBA Season Thread: Las Vegas Summer League | USA vs Germany at 3 ET on Fox

Fact Bron will play over 20 seasons and retire with only 4 MVP's is the funniest yet most pathetic thing of all time.

Should he have at least 8

if bron gets the lakers to the 6th while AD is hurt MVP
They’ve done extremely well to play .500 with AD out. That 5 game streak they reeled off may have saved their playoff hopes.

They probably had no chance at the playoffs if they fell to 10-15 games below .500.

Some tough games from now until March  so not out of the woods yet but amazing effort all around to tread water so far. Beating the Kings & sweeping the Hawks.

A guy like Thomas Bryant is fragile and sucks defensively but he’s had great injury luck since he’s been back and has been great for them offensively. Perfect regular season depth player.

Think Bron only had two other seasons he could've plausibly won since 2013, and that was 2020 and 2021.

But COVID shut down 2020 and the 2021 ankle injury sidelined him.

2007 and 2018 easily.

Hasn't won since 2013 dude lol.

Been best player in world for 15 years straight.

People just want something and someone new.

Team wasn’t good enough in 07. Maybe there’s an argument in 2018 but again harden averaged 30 on a 65 win team in Steph curry’s west. These things matter

Most scrutinized athlete of all time.

Took 3 different franchises to the promise land.

Will have his jersey retired by 3 different teams.

Billionaire athlete.

all time scorer.

It hasn't been a debate for awhile and never will be. But I digress.

the year D. Rose did for sure. that was voter fatigue.
Best record in the league when they were still supposed to be the “Baby Bulls”, swept Miami, & Rose played all 82 with both Noah & Booz missing 20+ games each. I would’ve given it to Bron but Rose had the stereotypical winning case that the voters typically choose.

That was also the last great Wade season where he looked like a superstar every night. After that year his body broke down & he was a part time guy, picking his spots. Those were the years Bron won MVP, rightfully so.

Scottie Barnes been doing a great job cutting out the mid range jumpers, and focusing on using his size to overpower defenders.

if he is going to be a star that's his best path imo.

Defense is still bad tho, gets blown by constantly.
