They’ve done extremely well to play .500 with AD out. That 5 game streak they reeled off may have saved their playoff hopes.
They probably had no chance at the playoffs if they fell to 10-15 games below .500.

Beating the Kings & sweeping the Hawks.A guy like Thomas Bryant is fragile and sucks defensively but he’s had great injury luck since he’s been back and has been great for them offensively. Perfect regular season depth player.

Best record in the league when they were still supposed to be the “Baby Bulls”, swept Miami, & Rose played all 82 with both Noah & Booz missing 20+ games each. I would’ve given it to Bron but Rose had the stereotypical winning case that the voters typically choose.
That was also the last great Wade season where he looked like a superstar every night. After that year his body broke down & he was a part time guy, picking his spots. Those were the years Bron won MVP, rightfully so.

Scottie Barnes been doing a great job cutting out the mid range jumpers, and focusing on using his size to overpower defenders.
