Think by now it’s pretty evident you can’t really win with a top heavy team that’s thin on depth and or defense

Idk how the new cba gonna force teams hands in making balanced teams but yeah

The whole aura of teaming up ain’t what it used to be unless you put a full squad together

Two superstar level players at the most with some high level role players that compliment the team well.

Denver has that now and the Lakers had that 4 years ago.

Gotta hit on your draft picks and cheaper free agent signings and trades…It’s important to take non lotto 1st rounders and even 2nd round picks seriously

I don’t really see a microwaved team up trumping the incumbents (pun intended)

Still too much overlap with two high usage guards taking up max spots. New York has done a really good job getting bargain contracts, but they could dedicate a second max elsewhere.
