For the kids’ sake, send that man somewhere for a fresh start.

Julius did his 4 years, graduated, and now should be a third option in Portland or elsewhere.

CP3 probably going Clippers for Morris + Covington + pick(s). Washington would try and flip them again if they could or just take the expiring contracts

I wonder if the Wizards are better off keeping Chris and then move him at the trade deadline for a desperate contender?

His value is at its lowest right now since teams think the Wiz can waive him then others can sign him for the Vet min. If they guarantee his contract and play him, then he can up his value and there will definitely be more demand at the trade deadline.

Might be difficult to come up with $30M in salary to trade at the deadline besides the Clippers are possibly offering right now.

Probably smarter move to wait for Washington, Clippers might be the desperate ones though. Washington might be able to be in good position for rebuild if they can keep acquiring assets/young talent and I'll bet KP a top trade candidate by trade deadline too

Wizards hold all the power when it comes to a CP3 trade. Is anyone besides the Clippers calling them to sign up for CP3's $30MM contract? If the trade is just for Marcus Morris and Covington (also expirings) then they Clippers better be coming off multiple picks.

Don't think CP has value like that. Maybe one of the lower rung prospects the Clippers have like Preston or Coffee. Or a second rounder, maybe two.
