The Official NBA Season Thread: Player Option Day

Another noon game for the Clippers. Im sure they can't wait to leave.

Apparently this game is against league protocol. You’re not supposed to have 2 games tip off within a 24-hour period and this game is tipping off 22 hours after yesterday’s game. That game ended 19 hours before this game is going to tipoff

HIM HIM lawdog1 lawdog1 What was the reason the Clips shared the staples center anyway? I always figured it was Sterling being cheap and not caring but was it more to it ?

LA too big not to have your own spot and be cool with being 2nd class citizens in somebody else arena  :smh:

Yikes. That might cause them to blow a huge lead against the Bucks >D

You guessed it. :smh:

"Perhaps what is the most shocking bit of information, is the fact that Donald Sterling had a chance to become Staples Center's primary tenant in Los Angeles.

They negotiated with Donald. The Clippers would have been the prime tenant and therefore with the best terms, and the best choice of dates.' - Alan Rothenberg

Instead of taking advantage of such a fantastic opportunity, Sterling negotiated the deal to death. As history unfolded, Jerry West and the Lakers became the primary target for Staples Center, and the Clippers became the third tenant. For all of the bad history the Clippers have, the Ballmer era has done a tremendous job of erasing all of it. Players take great pride in playing for the LA Clippers, the organization is viewed as top tier, and the infamous elephant in the room about the racist owner finally disappeared. Yet despite all of that success, the Clippers will always receive the worst dates at Staples Center."

Just glad they're gonna be out of that ****hole hockey arena,.

It's funny how taboo sports betting used to be or even how forbidden having a sports team in Vegas would end up being

It is wild how sports betting is driving a gambling crisis in the country and everyone is like...

Refreshing to see some respectability brought back to this once recently tarnished feat. No gang boxing out needed, and he's a Jordan Brand athlete as well and they not getting Oscar to get behind this. That tells you what it is right there. All organic.

Interesting take seeing as the team is in 8th place. Organic stats and ain't really doing anything.

i remember when brent musberger would always try to make gambling references during the game and after "meaningless" scores at the end and the analyst working with him would chuckle and not play along

At what point does the blame fall on Giannis and Dame? Milwaukee looks worse now than they did before firing their last coach.
