The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Begins | Embiid Debut | Klay Return

Charles Bark deserved his MVP. He was that good. Go back and watch the dream team docs and you’ll see Charles being the actual best player on that team night in and night out. He was a bad bad man at that time. His team was so much worse than the Bulls. Give him Pipp and the rest and they would of smoked Jordan.

Are playoff games accounted too? Because haven’t the Cs made the conference finals like 4x by now

Yeah it includes they playoffs. In his career he has lost 1X Finals, 2X ECF, 1X Semis, 1X First Round.

In that time span, only other team going deep into the postseason consistently is the Dubs (3X Finals runs) but they have had inconsistent regular season minutes from Steph, Klay and Dray due to injury.

You could argue Patrick Ewing deserved it as well. He just didn’t have Sir Charles personality and fan following. The Knicks had a sensational year in 1992 (and came close to beating the Bulls until the shenanigans in game six). He had one less point per game, about the same rebounds per game, 2.7 blks, more games played, etc.

Mike had a typical year (32 PPG). That Bulls team wasn’t as good as the second three peat. MJ was a monster at that point. He was the best player in the league, despite his team’s slightly worse year on year performance. It was voter fatigue. Plus that was the same year as the gambling allegations.

But in all honesty, my original post was a work. Jokic deserves a third MVP. But, hey, based on your logic, Luka will win.
