The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Begins | Embiid Debut | Klay Return

Have any of the players said anything about Kidd?

I don't think he's good, but firing him after their 2nd best player walked for nothing prior to the season, on top of making a major trade deadline move which shook up the roster, seems iffy.

Think he gets another year at least.
Kidd shouldnt be fired.

The front office has been mismanaging trades and assets since Luka got drafted.

Yeah, I don’t think he should go either but the notion has been floated in here. Definitely should get at least one more year given the circumstances of his situation. Kidd aside, they are simply lacking the personnel.

Kyrie takes pride at desecrating franchises.

By the end of this little experiment, Cuban gon have to find a way to get Luka a gigantic bag to keep him. Record contract type ****.

Things are really starting to coalesce for Minnesota. Roles are being figured out.
Definitely thought they’d take a step back when they got KAT back. Conley’s impact is probably bigger than the box score there.

Celtics-Bucks tomorrow, but the Bucks just played tonight. Relatively low minutes and stress tonight so hopefully everybody is available.

“worst trade ever” talks….two weeks into the season was some of the dumbest and weirdest **** I’ve heard.

And almost everybody was on it.

They were always going to be a middle of the pack team at some point, and better than last year.

We will see down the line.

What did the Wolves give up in that gobert trade?

Walker Kessler is basically putting up the same numbers as Goober now that he's starting. While making $35M less. And that's just one part of the trade

Meanwhile the Wolves are going to be in the play-in. Just like last year. Perhaps even the same seed.
