The Official NBA Season Thread: NBA Cup Begins | Embiid Debut | Klay Return

Bomani was spot on a few days ago when **** started hitting the fan

They might as well at this point, nothing good is gonna come out continuing things as constructed currently. The outside noise is 100% influencing the on court results and it's not gonna die down anytime soon.

They tried to make it work but gotta chalk it up to the game at this point and own that L instead of quadrupling down

I’m surprised Lebron doesn’t say anything. Hes usually well versed and outspoken on these matters. Plus he literally went to the highest Kabbalist rabbi for his blessings after he publicly made the Miami decision, when it was convenient for him.

Or even Amare. Dude went full into Judaism, hasnt said a word.

The NBA players bond/fraternity is strong.

Why would Lebron say anything about any of this? What does he stand to gain?

A lot of times it is better to just be quiet and let other people take the heat whether you agree or disagree with what's being said.

Cmon man, what if Irish people created some ridiculous religion claiming they were the real slaves in America and that black people were lying and controlling the information through their media influence?
It irks me people can't step outside themselves and see how it would feel if the shoe were on the other foot. Wild thing is when this wave is over it will happen and they will absolutely respond the same forgetting how they handled this.

Blow it up

Always relevant. Kevin Durant really left playing with Steph Curry for this
Extremely stupid decision on his part…But he deserves everything that’s happening right now cause fostered this toxic environment.

Nets and Joe Tsai look terrible in all of this. Have been reactive to this whole situation. Could see them free falling and losing a bunch in a row. KD already cooking up his exit strategy
