I wouldn't do either of these if I was Boston.

First one, Portland wouldn't trade Lillard straight up & it only narrows Boston's window.
Second one, Simons & Brandon Miller doesn't do anything to help Boston.

Unless he says he no longer wants to play for the franchise, I don’t think they should do either, either.

I didn't realize that he was under contract for one more year. And they can't trade him until a year after he signs it. And you are bringing almost everybody but Batman back. I guess you are right - just get on with it. Give him the super max.
