Obi gonna always wanna put on a show at his real home but he ain’t have the runway & was hype to do something.

He should retire that particular fast break hilite. Meantime it’ll preserve its NY aura.

They said the same thing bout Jordan when he retired but here we are  , it’ll be more stars the league is ok
I'm old enough to remember when Magic and Larry retired, same conversation. Even with MJ and the 90s stars people were saying the same thing. When MJ retired the first time we heard the same thing.

The NBA will always be a star driven league and guys will always rise up. The next generation of guys to carry the league will rise up. People say they aren't this player or that player but the same arguments were made against those named players when others retired.

Shaq/Kobe/Iverson were part of my childhood, but looking back they weren't on the level of Jordan. Don't think it was until Bron went to Miami that the league had a resurgence in the mid-2010s.

Edit:
Actually Lakers-Celtics in 2008 might've kicked things off.

And a decade from now you might be saying it ain’t no Luka’s then the cycle continues for the players next up

Nah this the first time I'm saying that. LeBron and Steph, especially LeBron was a clear mega star to keep carrying the torch. We didn't ask these questions when Shaq or Kobe was aging cuz it was clear who's next.

Dray talking like he's the reason why the Warriors won. only reason Warriors are winning lately is Steph bailing them out.
Obviously Steph is Steph, but Draymond is anchoring the defense and making the Kuminga-Wiggins combo work (it had been terrible up until Draymond returned).

Also neither Steph or KD top 10

Unless you want to put them over Bill, Wilt, and Hakeem.

Kobe like 11.
