This is my opinion is when the Knicks became cursed.
Kareem wanted to go back home to New York or go to LA. Those were his two options.

Focus is always personal and not enough focus on the sport itself
I saw Jokic, Gordon, and about 3 other Denver players contesting at least 3 of those layups
