The Official NBA Season Thread: SFA Prevails

You guys had the Jimmy Butler slander drafts ready.

Some of you guys couldn’t wait because he’s proved you guys so wrong the last couple years.

I use to rock with this show hard back in the day but it's garbage now. LeBron praise every chance both of them get, Shannon doesn't even hide it. Skip tries to be subtle with his, saying the NBA needs LeBron to get to the finals. The NBA doesn't need him for ****, the NBA needs to move the **** on and support whatever teams make it.
The issue is that LeBron debates, especially involving hot takes retain viewership and ESPN, etc. all know this. I think they realize this kind of sports debate talk show is slowly dying as younger viewers turn to YouTube, TikTok, and even podcasts and r/NBA etc. etc. for more sports discussion content so they resort to hot topics like LeBron vs MJ for the millionth time since they need the shares and comments/viewer engagement to keep this show trending and alive. Inside the NBA is an anomaly since it actually provides really good entertainment value but I’m wondering if that show is far too reliant on Chuck and when he leaves whether it will face the same fate.

Damn forgot he been there so long and played with Galinari. They praise LeBronze for these same passes, meanwhile he has 4 turnovers for the game.

Dude has some serious court vision.

What them turnovers look like though for Westbrook.
Lebron is a great passer. but Jokic is definitely better and comes natural for him for a Center. we rarely see those in such a big guy. Lebron's no-lookers are overrated imo.

EYE don't think the result of the series changes anything about games 4-6.

Heat ultimately did enough to win the series but Butler's poor play directly led to having to play three more games. Instead of a week of rest before going to play in the Denver altitude, they have two days.

They won the series. No one is going to sit around and talking about Game 4-6.

The Celtics defense adjusted to Himmy and he played poorly as a result*. He figured the adjustments out at the end of Game 6 and the rest is history.

The facts are Boston was terrible most of the playoffs. Their big 2 numbers went down in the playoffs. They chucking 3s and are not a great 3 shooting team. They are not consistent on defense.

Like GSW they thought they were gonna waltz into the finals and other teams stepped it up.

Let’s not forget Boston got lucky in game 6 with that last second tip in.

Drawing up a game winning 3 for Marcus Smart sums up their season.
