Problem is he’s under contract and can’t walk until 2027. That’s why they got expiring contracts that will end this coming year to free up space. Beal is better than CP3, shamet, but paying Beal max $ to sit half the games and be a lottery team wasn’t workingIf the Wizards let Beal walk I don’t think it would have really mattered after seeing this.
