The Official NBA Season Thread: SFA Prevails

Outside of a few, PFs are basically SFs masquerading these days because of lack of skill and/or footspeed.
There are like 4 centers in the league you can play through.

All the skill is on the perimeter. The 2 might be the deepest position in the league

Most durable star in the league during his houston tenure. Body broke down once he started ring chasing.
Gotta blame both MDA and Harden himself (and probably Morey as well). You had such Harden-centric rosters ever year and each star that was paired with him had unfortunate injuries, making Harden have to play so much. Then he turned into the injury plagued guy once he was traded.

I will always trust teams to find a way to fill out a roster. It happens and star power can carry you.

Having said that.. I think moving Ayton for depth is the obvious move.

Either way, the real lesson here is a no trade clause is pure chaos.

3 superstar model was never dead. But the players have to match well

Beal and booker are redundant.

For those reasons, I’m out.
The redundancy should be less of a concern than general health. We know KD will miss some time again, and Beal will miss a little less than him. At stretches during the season, Booker will be fighting for his life with Cam Payne I guess.
