Ime did play with another hard nosed defender with a little too much confidence offensively in Smart. Smarts best year was also under Ime so I’m sure coach will know how to bring the most out of Brooks.

This is an excellent way of looking at it. Get his usage down, fewer FGAs and focus on defense. As much as folks have been riding DB (pause if applicable), his shooting splits are very similar to Smart’s under Ime but DB just did it on a bit higher volume

Wemby's feet drifting forward is natural and he will draw fouls doing it, but he's gotta be careful. Possible ankle/foot issues if he keeps drawing them.

Yo, this just made me think...will Wemby even play the minimum 65 games required to be considered for postseason accolades? I know it is definitely a requirement for MVP, DPOY and All-NBA but not sure about All-Defense or ROY.

Might be worth taking some of the current underdogs for the award if so
