Famb the best way to understand the Malika hate is not to read what is posted in this thread.Calling out y'all stupidity is caping now, apparently.
Stephen A has more juice and creative control than most ESPN employees and he laid it out for you. ESPN ain’t having their employees run on air ranting about something that allegedly happened, when they don’t have an idea of what he did, or more importantly in connection to this, when it actually occurred. Brandon Miller brought the weapon to the scene. That’s a stone cold fact that they can report on. The criminality of it is obviously a different standard, and obviously he was never even charged. Talking about the morality of bringing the weapon to the scene given the text convo, the loss of life, etc. isn’t out of bounds at all. Just don’t understand what yall are missing here.
Go read the old Kevin Samuels thread.
That will give you the proper insight
Dudes don't have an issue with some supposed journalistic malpractice on Andrews' part. The real issue is that dudes see Andrews as a black woman who is not sufficiently respectful/obedient/loyal to black men. Having an issue with these supposed women was a major theme in that thread. And if you cross-check posters, I think you will see a trend.
Andrews's marrying a white man is an example of her disloyalty, her "talking back" to SAS is another example, her being short with Perk, and her reading of a teleprompter regarding bad behavior by black men are other examples of disloyalty.
That is why I knew the goalpost move was coming as soon as she mentioned Giddey. Dudes don't really have an issue with her journalistic standards. It is her supposed character they have this weird reactionary hang-up with.
And in the Kevin Samuels thread, whenever someone pushed back on such commentary, they were not thinking straight or some kind of simp.
Nothing will make these dudes see reason, their beef isn't logical. It is emotional
