The Official NBA Season Thread: SFA Prevails

Would rather wait until the summer if I were the Pacers. Would have to let go of Bruce Brown, Hield and McConnell, but keep the young guys and wouldn't be "forced" to give a five year contract to Siakam.

Pacers wanna commit to the 1st/2nd round exit
Exactly my reaction since the rumors came out with Indy but then I looked at someone like the Kings and they have the same record lol... and I wouldn't have been mad at Siakam going there

Only difference here is I feel like getting rid of one of your lottery picks seems a little dumb. I don't think the Kings would have to give up anyone like a Mathurin or unknown potential commodity like Walker

New CBA going to be hella interesting

Bobby Marks:

“I think the players that are earning in that $20 million range have more value than Zach LaVine and possibly Pascal Siakam, just based on how this collective bargaining agreement is set up here. If you look at how the Knicks have structured their books, there’s no guy on the roster making more than $30 million...

“I know we all get caught up on those big-name guys, but those $20 million players, Bojan Bogdanovic, maybe even Bogdan Bogdanovic. Who knows what’s going to happen in Atlanta here? I mean, basically it could be a fire sale down there.”

Pascal and his agent kind of killed TOR’s leverage in a future trade last yr with the telling everyone dont trade for me I aint stayin. Now Toronto is gonna have to settle for a Wiggins or lose him for nothing in the offseason as he goes to Detroit for a supermax

Its 6 here right now with a windchill of -9 which neans that wind is biting. Them folks finna be made when the game lets out ib 30 minutes

A few things:

1. I never knew there was a Durant, Oklahoma

2. Reason I found out was because I discovered Chocataw Casino. I had previously only known of Winstar which I enjoy the slots there. Which one you like better?

I dont gamble. Durant and Winstar (Thackerville) are both closer to Texas so they have that going for them, WinStar is like an hour plus a bit from Dallas. I also saw Jill Scott there. Never been to Choctaw though and the only reason I go to the other local Casinos like Remington and the one in Norman is surf and turf unlimited crab legs, steaks, and buffet night but I havent even done that in a whille. Line be oddddddd

Had a coworker who hit multiple jackpots beong 5-15k in the high rollers room at the one in Shawnee though with the ****** Brazilian steakhouse in it, Grand Casino I think

Am I the only one who doesn't like the fit with the Kings? It makes sense defensively, but offensively, Siakam, Sabonis and Fox all do the majority of their damage and are at their best in the paint.

When you're Sacramento- you're not really going to have the perfect fit, All-Star caliber player fall into your lap

If you have to give up K. Murray I feel like that's a non-starter. If you just give up Huerter, picks and Mitchell-- I wouldn't put my nose up to it even though locking into that core doesn't promise anything
