10th seed in the West might finish with maybe 47 wins lmao

The West has been a bloodbath for more than two decades now. Multiple seasons with the 8th seed having 50 wins. The East is usually very top heavy, with many seasons having the 8th seed under .500.

Those top heavy teams in the Leastern typically just beat up on the weak teams in that conference & are mid af when they go out West

Boston wasn't trying but they upgraded their entire starting five from questionable to active before the game, played them 30 minutes, made one substitution over an 11:13 span in the third quarter, & were picking up Brunson full court.

Were they not trying from tip or until it was a 30 point game?

What always amuses me is that back in the early days of NT all you heard was people calling the East trash and they couldn't be told that things just go in cycles - after the East was pretty dominant in the 90s and they didn't know that because they were babies at the time.

There was a period where West teams were stronger - but it's clearly not the case at the moment once you get past the top couple of teams.
