Yeah I think that's the benefit of Rookie extensions. Still, is Scottie really worth all that? As of today, I would say no, but he's still young and will/ should improve. I'm just not sure what his ceiling is.

This is true. I don't think the Raptors had a choice, but it doesn't mean that the fanbase is thrilled about it given where they are as a Franchise.
