Harden never carried a team like that, even the MVP year those Rockets who finished with the best record in the league were vastly superior to that Heat team.

Did 18/19 not happen? Harden dragged that team while cp3, Gordon, and Clint were injured all through the season.

Part of winning basketball is the ability to lead teams. Wade is a much better leader of men than Harden. He inspires teammates with his style of play and top tier defense.

There’s a difference between how good someone is and how sustainable it is they play that way + how much a team can rely on them to be HIM.

It’s why Kobe is so highly ranked. It’s not that he’s necessarily better than Wade when comparing their absolute best days but rather than over the course of a few years you’ll get more out of Kobe than out of Wade. Hardens defense is trash though so to put him in the convo with a Wade is nonsense. Uninspiring on that end.

Jim just doesn't have the playoff resume that Wade does so it's tough to make the argument for him at the end of the day.

However, you could basically put anyone around him for like an 8 year stretch and he's going to win you a lot of regular season games. Not a lot of guys can do that. Shouldn't just be written off.
