I definitely respect it but just find some things silly like friendlies in middle of a season. Guess that's the American fan in me who's use to the traditional season and playoff formats. Like NFL teams don't just play a game in the middle of the season for bragging rights lol. I totally get the business side of friendlies and soccer fans seem to enjoy them. Also obviously football is largely an American game and you just don't have super teams in other countries. Not too mention injuries...
