What will never happen, no matter how athletic of a football player you are…

Play basketball for a few months and make it to the league. You couldn’t even make it to college. Man, you couldn’t even make to a high school varsity team.

This is an actual skill sport.

This isn’t just learning how to sumo wrestle for a few seconds, run a route, and catch a ball in the Summer.
 
^throw in the fact that the route to the nba is much harder. fewer roster spots and you pretty much have to hit the genetic lottery in terms of height. you can't teach "height"

A lot of times what I would see is the Football coach poaching the basketball players vs the opposite. They'd put them in like a DL position until they learned the game and flourished.

Moss wouldn’t have made the NBA, not saying that. It’s crazy how some guys win their state’s POY in a different sport than the one they went pro in.

Joe Mauer was a QB in HS, and won Gatorade National Player of the Year for football. Had a full ride to Florida St to play for Bobby Bowden but chose baseball which was obviously smart.

They didn’t goof for sure

KP didn’t fit. Gafford and Lively are better fits as bigs next to Luka

Mavs would’ve never gotten Kyrie had they kept Brunson

Washington is a better fit as a 2-way wing than DFS because PJ is more aggressive offensively, a better scorer and imo is a much better rebounder and much better defender averaging a block and a steal a game for his career

So yes, DAL finally got Luka better all around help because DAL is deeper and more balanced as Platinum State Platinum State mentioned
