The Official Netflix Thread Tho: Recommend Streaming Movies

I can see where the 20million per went.
Though we get 43-58min episodes they were probably cut down from 90minutes of production.

20million for a feature length doesn’t seem all that crazy with what I’m seeing in wardrobe, architecture and location.
I’m also enjoying the series deusavertat deusavertat

The cow in "Twister" from almost 30 years ago looks better than their flying horse

Heard nothing but good things about 3 Body Problem so I started it today…

Why the **** is it shot like a daytime soap opera? That alone is ruining it for me.

Anyone watch season 2 of Physical 100 yet? Just got done with 1 and while an interesting watch the edits with them showing replays 3-4x and repeating dialog really started to get old fast. Was good to see Sexyama do so well though, pause.

Also I'm sure some stuff got lost in translation watching it dubbed in English.

Im 4 episodes in 3 Body Problem.

I dont get the hype for this at all. This is garbage.

It's poorly executed but interesting nontheless.

So the aliens need 400 years to come to earth but can control earth from 400 years away. Make it make sense.

Well I guess a big ship travels slower and they can send orb computers n sh***

This lady dumb as hell for trusting aliens..

On episode 4 of 3 body problem. The story finally got interesting when stuff got revealed. I can see people dropping the show after an episode or two. Seems similar to other mystery shows trying to be like Lost.

It got a LITTLE more interesting after episode 5 or whatever with the whole boat thing but thats about it. Im just gonna finish it for the sake of finishing.

So they said the santi are way more advanced but since they always have chaotic events their civilization always has to reset and start from the beginning. They’re scared of us because in 400 years we’d probably develop technology to be able to kill them because our development is exponential compared to theirs since we don’t have chaotic events frequently and are allowed to continue to evolve. Ok I guess. Also it accurately shows how stupid humans are because they’re panicking about an invasion 400 years from now.

The ladder plan seems stupid. I might’ve missed it but I don’t remember them saying how the plan would help the humans or how they’d be able to receive any useful info back.

In 3 Body Problem? Kinda spoilers upcoming… I still didnt finish it got 2 episodes left and theyre in the process of planning it last I watched and it doesnt make sense to me either. How they spose to get info back to help them out? Sounds like they just sending someone over there so the aliens can pick their brain, sounds like they giving the aliens info.

Maybe last 2 episodes explain it more.

I didn’t think I’d like The Gentleman, it’s enjoyable as hell. But good lord one of the side characters is grating to watch.
