Watching Sabrina.
Not to be too insensitive. But is there really a need to throw in a surprise gay person in every show now.
Like we get youre a progressive show..but this one scene was pretty unnecessary.
Oh you a .......
Yea ima a.....
Tongue lock.

Eva deserved an Emmy nom for the last season.
I would like the show a lot more if she showed her **** more  but yes it is a great show.

Has anyone checked out The Bodyguard starring Rob Stark? Looks pretty good to me anyone check it out? Opinions about it?

Your observation is correct, there are more LGBTQ characters in film & TV than there has been ever been but I love it. Inclusion is absolutely needed in film & TV not only for the LGBTQ community but also for all of us that have been marginalized.

From a personal perspective, it's rather sad that Crazy Rich Asians is the first film since Joy Luck Club to feature an all Asian cast, directed by an Asian American...

If you don't understand the larger perspective, then you don't.... This falls in line I said in the Marvel Netflix thread that I think it's funny people complain about female characters on NT like Daredevil's Karen. Most of it is rooted in the sexism & misogyny that most young NTers exhibit...

I don't know if the last part you're saying i have a bit of that misogynistic sexist in me or not.
I completely understand LGBTQ is strong and more prevalent these days. But don't just throw random scenes in with no context to push the agenda.
I'd feel the scene would've been out of place if it was a hetero scene as well. As I said before though it's more with the LGBTQ we're seeing these random "oh we're progressive" scenes.
I was watching the first episode of American Housewife. they prefaced a scene in there happening before it happened... it made sense.
In the scene I'm talking about there was no context before or after. It was the next episode where the guy was like... oh hey i met ________ he was so cool i htink i like him.
Context is what makes good writing period. Straight, gay, black, white, brown, alien. don't matter.
Even pornography had more context than this scene.
Give the LGBTQ more justice than that. Stop just throwing in random stuff just to say you did it..

2 episodes in the new season of Bojack not feeling it so far, guess i need some refresher from s2 so I can enjoy again

Haunting of Hill House is pretty good.

Wouldn’t have found it if not for this thread.
I thought it was an old Movie or show.
I mean, there are at least what, 10+ films or whatevs with “Hill” in them. I thought this was some old ****

Bro, that scene in the Funeral Home towards the end of Ep3 where Theo fianllly takes her glove off, and touched Nellies head to see what REALLY happened and she's immediately struck with fright and shame and regret....man I had to pause it and get some air.
**** was Madd intense

I know this is Netflix but have any of yall watched Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime? I finished Man in the High Castle and started that one now.

I try to share the love between my Netflix and Amazon viewing.

They were definitely beating heads to a pulp with the agendas. Non Binary acceptance, LGBTQ issues, women empowerment. The show was cool but it had it's cringe moments. Although, looking at it another way, it's interesting that a show that deals heavily with Satanism promotes these concepts too. I wonder if that's problematic for feminists and LGBTQ community?
