Mints looking good. In for those, neons, and of course the infrared. Those purples would have been good just can't stand the different shades of purples.

Glad the undftd joints are sitting. Will they hit discount though? That’s the real question b/c they damn sure aren’t worth $150, IMO.

Picked up the Black and Yellow Undftd AM 90 this morning. Amazing how hype can drive demand, these are the best quality leather on any pair of Nike shoes I own by FAR, particularly around the left/right sides of the heel and under the swoosh. It feels the same way as the leather on the Unions.

They shouldn’t have messed with the shape. I’m not sure about the skinnier mud* guard, and the back does look a little fatter. I’m copping regardless; Just not the right move on Nike’s part

90s needed a refresh imo. I'm cool with the new shape and I'm sure they'll have a lot of nice pairs for the 30th anniversary. Let the 90s get some shine.

Sails came in and definitely have that crazy skinny MG. Overall Construction is just wonky af. I’m returning for another pair.
We’ll see if it’s QC or just what we’re gettin?
OG MGs were definitely not as skinny as the new remastereds. Lookin forward to gettin Volts in hand to see if they’re any better.

peeps here are praying for slimmer mudguards, lower shoe height and overall less bulky appearance so that the shoes will look like a scrawny anorexic ballerina flat tops finally get what they have wished for, nike actually love to manufacture shoes with less material so that they can keep the production cost as cheap as possible

I have a feeling those sails and others like them with the cheap synth leather uppers arent going to have the attn to detail the anniversaries and others with a similar colorblocking will have in regards to the mudguard and overall shape the campaign is truly trying to emphasize

They probably use these everyman mega gr bogo pairs as practice for getting the real deals right when the time comes. Also prob why infrareds wont be first out the gate.

nike could've easily gathered the peeps together that did the am1 reshape like solelove1, afrokix and co, but then they would've probably hear from those guy that they want the pre 2004 shape and thats not a very economic direction for nike to go after, at the end adding more material to a silhouette is way too expensive and will kill nikes profit
Not sure what this means. There's nothing wrong with the current shape of the 90$

I don’t think he‘s got a lot to learn, I think its his opinion that he likes the current shape better. Thats up to him and whoever else feels this way.
For me, I’m with you in that the og shape/mold on these is so much better! For me, a running shoe is supposed to be form fitting and have a sleek shape. Makes the shoe look fast imo. I don’t get how nike can get so off course on the shapes of their shoes? It’s like they purposely want to make their shoes look like a nursing shoe and a boot had sex and all the bloated shapes of retros are their bastard children.
Instead a being vague and telling inside jokes can y'all put me on game?

Personally I'm on the fence until I see more colourways in the real world. I was in offspring a couple of days ago and the sails felt good in hand (the suede, mesh, leather, and leather like insoles) but the concerns about the mudguard and general QC construction are valid.
The recent ghost racer retro shows they can get a sleek toebox right when they want to. I decided to skip the sails (as they are quite plain and will probably be discounted shortly as the lahars can be had for £83 now) saved my money and bought a third pair of the volt, red and white ghost racers for £25 instead.
