The jacquards are in most stores so you should be able to walk in to a place near your home and try a pair on. I haven't tried then on so I can't comment on it.

Haven't paid quite that much for a pair sneakers yet but I have some high dollar pairs and I justify wearing them as their only shoes and that's what their made for and money comes and goes.
