So I got my black Kobe reversible shorts in and bought both a small and medium to play it safe.

God damn these shorts are small/snug. They have a “baggy” fit, but it runs small. Like the waist is smaller with little give compared to other Nike basketball shorts and the inner reversible side makes the shorts fit snug while the outer side is “baggy”.

I’m gonna return my small, and keep my medium even though the medium still feels snug.

For reference, I’m a size small in Nike NBA swingman and small in Mitchell and Ness NBA authentics.

Man those eggplants are uglier than I imagined. Kobe's really peaked in 2020. So many good drops (Zebra, Bruce Lee and Alt, PJ Tucker, Big Stage, 5x champ, 5 rings, Grinch) that year. This new stuff (X-rays/Eggplant) is not it.

copped the reversible shorts and kobe pullover from nike.com, returning the shorts asap because they are weird and overweighted af. would only copp the shorts under $40. The hoodie i am actually in love with because of the material (poly blend), imo it’s the perfect mamba hoodie to train in. Not sure if I’ll return the hoodie yet, would be a sure buy if it were under $80

Yea that's one of the reasons I took that subway ride out to Nike Soho on the 8s release... to check for the apparel.... and those shorts.... yea they shoulda did normal dri fit one-sided shorts

You and me both. I got a shirt but no movement. Last year i got the halo shirt. Ordered on 8/17/23 and got shipping email on 9/07/23. We'll prob get the email sometime next week..
