There's only a few players that actually got Kobe PE's, Hali was not one of them. Hali bought his kicks from IG (most of which were Derozan's PE's), he never actually got any PE's from Nike directly.

I'm going to speculate that his agent probably tried negotiating something of sort with Nike this summer and they told him to kick rocks so Puma gave him money.

Demar gets paid to wear Nike's. He gets PE's, has his own Nike account with money loaded on it, etc..

Players like DeRozan, do they get to customize their own cushioning setup as well? Remember during the pandemic time frame someone posted a Kobe that a Nike athlete in the NBA customized, and they got to pick their own cushioning (that particular pair had beefed up full length zoom, not the nonsense foam they give regular consumers) can't remember which thread it was in though.
