The Official Nike LeBron 14 Thread. Retail $175

Yet you showed pictures of the pairs that matched the uniforms which is what I was originally referencing. Thanks for dancing around the fact that Nike has stayed with the bright red since he returned to the cavs. So much that they dubbed the red and white 13s his home color.
Hart of a lion 12 is another example. I agree with the fact that these red shoes don't match cavs uniforms.

Not true at all.

One piece upper shoes are cheaper to manufacture as there is fewer stitching and less seams - allows 'em to take advantage of automation vs. employing shoe cobblers/little kids, etc... Also allows for quicker turnaround from design to production as the joints have to be on Nike iD.

Even if that was true it doesn't mean they can't add stretch material to strategic places that would allow an easier entry.

The Soldier 10 has something similar and it's considered the budget shoe.

If lockdown is a widespread problem, it's not going to matter on the person - it's a design issue.
Nike not going to fix the issues because these are actually selling

I finally was able to track down a pair of size 13 Chase Downs at Champs. They are very roomy and I've officially ditched the Lebron 13 due to them being a tad tight.

These Lebron 14 to me feels just as wide as the Lebron 12 at the toe box, less stiff upper makes them very comfortable to wear. The ride seems higher off the ground like Jordan 11.

Just wish they come with longer laces.

Would you say then that they fit a half size bigger? You think going down half a size would have helped?

If you want a tight fit then yes go down half a size. These are really roomy at the toe box like Jordan 11 due to the stretchy mesh upper. The mesh isn't stiff like the megafuse on the Lebron 12.

I meant the Lebron 13s feel tight and it's not even due to the hyperposite strip on the top, the overall construction is just too stiff even after broken in (I thought it was fine until I did a lot of walking on the streets).

I think Nike got it right with the new Lebron 14.

Oh I know, I'm just saying it sucks they can't make a LeBron shoe that doesn't have one major flaw from a performance standpoint since the 10 (for the people that wear them to hoop, I mean).

As far as lockdown, in general, goes - if a shoe doesn't have good lockdown, it's an immediate pass.

Just noticed on the toes it says 3XWC (3 times world champ) and SFG (strive for greatness)
The heels also read "BBZ" and "330". I had to Google them to find out that BBZ stands for Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri (his kids) and 330 is the area code for Akron Ohio.

Guess I'm not a Lebron fanboy.ny, Bryce and Zhuri

He also had BBZ written on the bottom strap of his Soldier Xs in the Finals

These definitely don't choke the life out of your feet and work against them like the 13.

And these def have a lifestyle appeal to them. They looked dope on 'Bron in that "Equality" spot.

They upper feels really nice once on foot but putting them on foot is an entire event lol, almost popped a vein in my forehead trying to push my feet into these bastards
